“God Wants to Restore Your Family” is what I posted on Instagram this week. Now when I say “restore,” I’m not talking about just bringing separated parents back together or siblings moving back home, although I’m not saying He won’t do that either. I believe God wants to do something deeper than just physically restoring families. I believe God wants your family to be whole and complete in their hearts, spirit, soul, and body.
You may think you love your family members and care for them deeper than anyone else, but God made every single one of them and loves them far greater than you could even imagine. For every single person in your family, His plan is to heal and restore them physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Maybe you’ve been praying for some family members for months, or years, and you’ve begun to feel a sense of hopelessness in still praying because you haven’t seen your prayers answered. You still see them making the same choices, choosing the same paths, living the same lifestyle that you pray they would be free from. Perhaps you see them still struggling each day and fighting for their lives. It could even be that they have rejected being part of your family and you don’t even know where they are or how they are.
Let me tell you princesses, God has heard every one of your prayers and has not forgotten one of them. God has protected your family members from things that you don’t even know about because of your prayers. They have had blessings in certain areas of their life because God heard your prayers. Sometimes when you pray, God is working on something in them that you can’t even see. It could be that He is putting their heart back together one piece at a time or that their mind or spirit is being healed. Bottom-line is that God DOES move when you pray.
Matthew 21:22 (ESV):
And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.
I want to encourage you princesses to keep on praying. No matter what, never stop. You may not know how powerful your prayers are, but when you pray, God moves mountains. He sends angels to answer your prayers. God moves when you speak because His spirit resides inside of you and just speaking the name of Jesus causes the enemy to tremble because just His name is powerful. You are the daughter of THAT God, the God of the angel-armies. He is the God of the impossible and what may look impossible with your family, is possible for God.
Princesses, don’t worry any longer. Trust in God and put your family totally and completely in His hands. He loves every one of them and they WILL be whole and complete because God wants to restore your family.
