Hello! I’m Katya, the founder of To All You Princesses (TAYP).

To All You Princess is a blog for you, written to the daughters of the King.

This is a place where vulnerability and grace co-exist, where we seek truth, admit defeat and find hope in the chaos.
This is a place where we pray for you.
This is a place where we remind you of God’s promises.

Because you are loved.

Thank you for being here and welcome to our home.

Our History

I first created TAYP in the fall of 2013. During that time of my life, I was battling an auto-immune disease, which kept me in bed most days. I felt defeated by that disease. My dream was to be a missionary, to tell people about Jesus, but I couldn’t—not from my bed. I kept thinking, “What good am I to God if I barely have the strength to make it to my front door?”

Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.
Psalm 43:5

Though my physical strength was lacking, spiritually, I became closer with God. I found strength in His presence and His understanding. He knew what I was going through, my internal heartbreak because my body couldn’t do what my heart desired.

He saw me and was with me.

Then one night I had a dream. I was writing everything God was teaching me of His faithfulness, of His wonder, and sharing it with women around the world. I wasn’t a writer, so it was out of my comfort zone, but the message was clear: Start a blog. Through much prayer and encouragement from my family and friends, I created the website and called it, “To All You Princesses.”

The Present

It’s been some years now since I started this blog, and I have a testimony to share: the Lord healed me of that auto-immune disease in the summer of 2015. I’ve been able to travel, go on mission trips, and do things I never thought I could. I am so grateful for all the highs and lows in this journey with God.

Also, I am still here and still writing. Some days, I get an email from one of my readers, and I feel so encouraged. Other days, I wonder if anyone reads this blog, if it matters. But you know what the Lord tells me?

Keep writing. Just keep writing.

And so I will—I will write to you, Princesses.

I pray these words strengthen you and remind you that you are not alone.

With all my love,
Katya

So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10
