For the month of March, we will be starting our first series called “Examining Love.” Four different wives/fiancés will be writing to you based off of the scripture 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. I broke that scripture up into eight different statements and gave the women two statements each (e.g. “Love is Patient and not Easily Angered”). They will write about when those statements were tested in their relationship and how they chose to love and trust God.
I am really excited about this series and I believe this will be such a beautiful journey exploring what it looks like to love in real circumstances, how to choose to love, and the outcome when God is brought into relationships.
I created this video as an introduction to “Examining Love“:
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NIV):
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
